Malacca now known as the state that offer different types and levels of education that can be obtained by the entire community. This is supported by a complete infrastructure Malacca was the preferred destination to pursue secondary education or higher. Education industry here is also growing rapidly due to the efforts taken by the state government to make Malacca as an educational center.

TABUNG AMANAH PENDIDIKAN NEGERI MELAKA (TAPEM)

In addition, government agencies such as Tabung Amanah Pendidikan Negeri Melaka (TAPEM)also help in promoting and strengthening the spirit of Malacca to help people overcome the financial problems faced by the students of Malacca children enrolled in the school / institution of higher learning either High School or studying in Higher Education Institutions Public / Private.

TAPEM act as a Catalyst to the achievement and mastery of knowledge and skills to become a contributor high development and progress to the State of Malacca and Malaysia in general.

Focus or object of government schools is as fundamental to inculcate and foster unity among the races from the early stages of schooling. Malaysian citizens are eligible to get free education at government-owned schools. For government-aided schools, there are 232 primary schools and 75 secondary schools in the state of Malacca.

To meet the needs of those who can afford it, private schools are allowed to operate freely. The facilities offered are dependent on the fees charged. However, private schools are subject to the Malaysia syllabus.

Pre-school education is a crucial years and is the basis of education as a preparation to continue their studies to a higher level. Studies have shown that pre-schools education to enhance the cognitive, social and personality of the child as well as having a positive impact long and short term. Children who enter kindergarten have higher self confidence, tends to achieve success and better office than children who do not attend preschool.

Investment in pre-schools education is preventive in nature and can help children at risk, have special needs and who are weak in learning. Effect of pre-schools education depends a lot on the quality of preschool programs granted. The State Government was very careful in monitoring the progress of pre-schools education to ensure excellence in pre-schools education.
