Community Development Department
Community Development Department, better known among the general public as KEMAS is an extension of the Adult Education Division which was formed in 1961 through a cabinet paper No. 385/25/60 focusing on Illiteracy Eradication program.
By 1977, the movement to eradicate illiteracy has been enhanced with the introduction of the concept of Functional Literacy by UNESCO as one of the efforts to make the eradication of poverty as one of the strategies to develop rural communities.

On July 1, 2001, the Department of Women's Affairs has been restructured and renamed as the Department of Women Development (JPW). Department of Women serves as executive machinery Ministry of Women, Family and Family Development (the ministry) and run the program and activities of women's development in line with the vision and mission of the Ministry of Women, Family and Family Development (the ministry).
On March 1, 2002, a branch office of the Department of Women of the Office of Women Affairs had been established in 13 states including Sabah and Sarawak.

Women Service Center / Rumah Nur is one of the services provided by the Office of Women Melaka. It is a point of reference, complaint, counseling and advisory services for women and local families. Women Service Center / Home Nur plays an important role in the success of activities and programs closely related to the resolution of issues of social problems of women and families. Women Service Center / Home Nur also organizes women's development programs such as courses / seminars / lectures and up skilling for smart partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to achieve its objectives.

Peace Associations Melaka Branch
(ALUMNI Association of National Anti Melaka) PEACE or ALUMNI is also known as the Association of Former addicts who have enough on his stage set up in September 2002 at Dataran Shah Alam. Following these events, the Peace throughout the country have set up and deployed as a strategic partner and co-workers who are most familiar with the agency, including the Peace in Malacca.
Alumni Association of National Anti Melaka also serves to help the agency as a partner to other agencies and NGOs. Apart from that it also serves to be a friend to all former addicts recovery and create Help Support group for creating space and opportunities as well as business.
Peace is also responsible for mobilizing activities such as counseling, lectures and program advice to members in addition to welfare assistance to the members of the Peace.

Melaka Stroke Foundation (YAAM) was officially launched by YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Chief Minister of Melaka on 1 April 2006 at the Dewan Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh.

2. Establishing a network of clinics in collaboration with government and private sector where YAAM has partnered with the District Health Office Alor Gajah, Melaka Tengah, NPFDB and Treatment Centre An-Nur in the success of the stroke program for their expertise and knowledge about the disease.
3. Motivate and increase confidence in stroke patients through programs to share experiences in seminars organized. Former stroke patients who have recovered have recounted their experiences to be shared not only patients but also healthy people as a guide.
4. Provides complete database of patients with stroke in cooperation with each assembly agi get the latest list of patient names. The number of patients throughout the state of Melaka is about 302 patients as of July 2007.

The Ministry of Women and Family(KPWK)
The establishment of the Ministry of Women's Affairs was announced by the Prime Minister on 17 January 2001. The Ministry subsequently been expanded and renamed the Ministry of Women and Family (MWFD) on 15 February 2001. Accordingly, the Department of Women's Affairs (HAWA) and Board Population and family Development (National) was placed under the Ministry. HAWA later restructured and renamed as the Department of Women Development (JPW).
After the Eleventh General Election in March 2004, the functions and responsibilities have expanded MWFD. On March 27, 2004 the Community Development and the Ministry of National Unity and Social Development has been dissolved, and was transferred to MWFD. In accordance with these organizations, MWFD been renamed the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (the ministry).
