VISION
Towards the state administration as a superior organization in the planning, implementation and management based on professionalism, integrity and technology in line with the State Government of Malacca to become a developed state by 2010.
MISION
Ensure raw water resources and their environment is in a state of
protected and sustainable socio-economic development of the State to support the
always viable.
OBJECTIVE
-
Provide adequate water supply and good quality to meet the requirements in line with population growth and socio-economic development state;
-
Perform functions as planners, implementers, coordinators, facilitators, researchers and regulators effectively, systematically and efficiently in the development and management of water resources.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
-
Regulatory conduct with respect to water supply services by licensees include determining the standards of performance and service facilities as well as the implementation of enforcement;
-
Ensure optimal water supply at reasonable charges and to promote efficiency in water supply;
-
Advise the State Authority on water supply and water supply services;
-
Promote, stimulate and ensure the provision of safe and adequate;
-
Promote and encourage the supply of water for the purpose of advancing the economic development of Malacca;
-
Monitor and ensure that the licensee may carry out activities and regulations under the enactment, and
-
Issue a license to the Malacca Water Company Limited (EXT) to the National Water Services Industry Act 2006 enforced.
CLIENT CHARTER
(i) |
Memastikan paras sumber bekalan air mentah dipantau supaya mencapai 10juta m³ pada setiap bulan; |
(ii) |
Memastikan laporan tahunan dikeluarkan bagi kebersihan sungai, paras air empangan serta kualiti air mentah Negeri Melaka pada bulan januari tahun berikutnya; |
(iii) |
Memastikan Bil Air Mentah dikeluarkan kepada pemegang lesen selewat-lewatnya 15 haribulan setiap bulan; dan |
(iv) |
Memastikan keputusan Kerajaan Negeri berhubung permohonan lesen abstraksi air mentah dimaklumkan dalam tempoh tempoh masa tujuh (7) hari bekerja dari tarikh penerimaan fail kelulusan di BKSA |
