Therefore, the Government of Malacca, in line with the vision of the Central Government to provide health services to all citizens of Malaysia, places emphasis on renewal of that technology in the field of medical services can be offered to citizens of Malacca. Malacca Government target is to ensure that services at state hospitals and clinics are provided with state of the art technology and equipment to the health service in Malacca to be recognized as among the best in the country and on par with developed countries.
Apart from government hospitals and health clinics, there are also a number of private medical specialist centers including The Straits Hospital, Mahkota Medical Centre, Beach and Putra Specialist Hospital Specialist Hospital provides full health. In addition, there are hundreds of private clinics to treat less serious illnesses.
Location of medical institutions are located all over the state of Malacca well in urban or rural areas. It is important to provide a uniform and equitable healthcare to all citizens of Malacca. In addition it is also to facilitate the patient to seek medical treatment.
Melaka State Health Department provides basic health services to the citizens of Malacca in order to create a healthy and prosperous life. In accordance with the Ministry of Health Malaysia's vision to make Malaysia a country made up of individuals, families and healthy communities through health system fair and equitable, efficient, affordable and appropriate technology acquisition, client compatible and compatible with the environment.
This system will also be emphasizing quality, innovation, health promotion, respect for human dignity and to promote individual responsibility and community participation towards improving the quality of life.
