Mision

  • Developing the tourism industry to become a major contributor to economic growth (GDP) and employment generation of Malacca

  • MICE Unit Functions
    • Coordinate and attend meetings related to the job;
    • Coordinate invitation MICE activities organized by the Tourism Promotion Division;
    • Coordinate and monitor the organization's MICE berkitan;
    • Collect, compile and analyze statistics monthly MICE;
    • Promote Melaka as MICE events
    • Other duties as directed by the Senior Management from time to time.
  • Function Unit Event
    • Coordinate, prepare and implement tourism promotion and development of domestic tourism program;
    • Cooperation with the Association of Foreign Tourism as Malacca to promote Domestic Tourism events;
    • Provide Melaka Tourism Calendar for monthly events;
    • Assist in coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Event;
    • Preparing Reports and Papers MMKN for events Malacca Chief Minister and the State Government of Malacca;
    • Perform other duties as directed from time to time.
  • Function Communications Unit
  • Provide and assist in the opening of programs, seminars, receptions and official visits from domestic and overseas
  • Providing business invitation and receptionist functions.
  • Secretary to the Post Exco Meeting Development Committee of Tourism, Culture and Heritage of Malacca when the meeting is held each week
  • Oversee the receipt and delivery of promotional items and tourist brochures to attractions and hotels in Malacca, while ensuring that the supply of promotional material is always enough.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation and conduct of the Tourist Information Centre Coordinate and attend meetings related to the job.
  • Responsible for assisting the General Manager and Deputy General Manager in the absence of them in the office as directed by the General Manager and Deputy General Manager
  • Carry out other duties as directed from time to time.
  • Function Unit R&D
      • Review the tourists according to the market demands, including identifying "niche market";
      • Review the tourism product includes identification of "niche products" according to market demand;
      • Collect, compile and analyze statistics and presented monthly tourists to the State Executive Council (MMKN);
      • Make a SWOT analysis of the tourism industry (domestic / global) from time to time and make recommendations related;
      • Keep an inventory and make "auditing" on all tourism products and make recommendations related;
      • Serve as the secretariat to the 12 "Lead Agency";
      • Perform other duties as directed from time to time.
      • Provide and assist in the opening of programs, seminars, receptions and official visits from domestic and abroad;
      • Providing business invitation and receptionist functions;
      • Secretary to the Executive Council Meeting of the Development Committee Post, Tourism, Culture and Heritage Malacca when meetings are held every week;
      • Oversee the receipt and delivery of promotional materials and Tourism brochures to attractions and hotels in Malacca;
      • Coordinate and monitor the implementation and conduct of the Centre;
      • Coordinate and attend meetings related to the job;
      • Responsible for assisting the General Manager and Deputy General Manager in the absence of them in the office as directed by the mgr and Deputy General Manager;
      • Carry out other duties as directed from time to time.
    • Function Promotion Unit
      • Responsible for planning and conducting promotional activities both domestically and internationally;
      • Responsible for coordinating the representation of Malacca in tourism promotion mission organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Malaysia, either domestically or internationally;
      • Responsible for working with government agencies or tour operators indstri coordinate the implementation of promotional activities organized by them in domestic and international;
      • Responsible to engage cultural groups, cooks and rickshaw drivers to work together with the hotel or other bodies promoting tourism products;
      • Perform other tasks as directed by the Melaka State Government, represented by the Chief Minister of Malacca, YB.Setiausaha State, Hon. Chairman of Tourism Development, Culture and Heritage of Malacca and General Manager of the PBC;
      • Perform other tasks as directed.
    • Functions of the Administrative Unit
      • Record and monitor incoming and outgoing correspondence course including circulation internal / external
      • Overseeing the affairs of individual files, secret and open;
      • Recruited staff through the Human Resource Management Division, Department of the Chief Minister of Malacca;
      • Provide forms for business Kew.8 salary and annual salary increases and new staff officers and an annual salary increase;
      • Record and update the Government Service;
      • Coordinate Annual Performance Evaluation Report Form (SKT) and Property Declaration Form;
      • Managing officers and staff attended the courses related to their work areas;
      • Oversight of cleanliness, maintenance, safety and office equipment;
      • Manage and record the purchase of stationery production and needs;
      • Assist in the work of tourism booth decoration accompanied by Melaka State Government.
    • Art Brigade Unit Functions
      • Melaka Art Brigade manage activities include performances and all related marketing;
      • Planning and organizing marketing strategies and sensitive to the needs and current developments in the presentation;
      • Receive and respond to all letters relating to the sale of Melaka Art Brigade;
      • Representing meetings and appointments that involve group activities or directed by the General Manager;
      • Make estimates of income and expenditure and report to the General Manager;
      • Make a list of all equipment and inventory records.

Customer Charter

 

(i)

Memastikan acara penganjuran Festival Pelancongan (Roadshow) dan  penyertaan pameran (Exhibition) di peringkat domestik dan antarabangsa dilaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya 15 kali setahun.

(ii)

Memastikan penganjuran acara-acara pelancongan di Melaka dilaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya 100 acara setahun.

(iii)

Memastikan program lawatan Fam Tours dari media asing & tempatan, agen kembara dan lawatan rasmi dari dalam dan luar negara dilaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya 12 kali setahun.

(iv)

Memastikan persembahan kebudayaan di dalam dan luar negara dilaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya 48 kali setahun.
