The objectives of TAPEM’s establishment are:

To process and make payment for the Higher Education Loan within thirty (30) working days upon receipt of the complete agreement documents and examination results. |

(ii) |
To make payment for the Melaka Scholarship within fourteen (14) days after approval from the Board of Directors Meeting. |

(iii) |
To process and make payment for the Care IPT assistance within thirty (30) working days upon receipt of complete documents. |
|
(iv) |
To process and make payment for the Islamic Studies Bursary within thirty (30) working days upon receipt of the complete agreement documents and examination results. |

(v) |
To process and make payment for the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate within thirty (30) working days upon receipt of complete documents. |

(i) |
Ensure that complete and organised MMKN memorandums are submitted to the State Executive Council meeting no later than five (5) working days after endorsement by the Right Honourable Chief Minister / State Secretary. |

Ensure that State Executive Council decisions are sent to the relevant Departments/Agencies no later than seven (7) working days after the decision is confirmed. |

(iii) |
Ensure that the affairs of the State Legislative Assembly are carried out efficiently according to the schedule and timeframe stipulated in the Melaka State Assembly Standing Orders. |

(iv) |
Ensure that the privileges of Administrative/Government Members, State Assembly Members, and retired Assembly Members are managed systematically within the prescribed timeframe in line with the Administrative Members & State Assembly Enactment. |

Make payment and issue financial assistance cheques to sports associations within fourteen (14) working days from the approval date, subject to the availability of funds. |

Make payment to suppliers within fourteen (14) working days from the date goods or services are received and all related documents are completed. |

(vi) |
Conduct monitoring of the Sports Development Programme training at least twice a month. |

Issue approval letters from the Public Service Department (JPA) regarding restructuring/strengthening of positions to the relevant departments within seven (7) working days. |

Issue decision letters on service matters within three (3) working days for the following processes: a) Confirmation of appointment |

Notify Departments/Agencies to submit complete documents of staff who will retire six (6) months prior to the retirement date (mandatory retirement). |

(iv) |
Inform promotion decisions within seven (7) working days after the Promotion Board meeting. |
|
(v) |
Provide counselling services to public service personnel within seven (7) working days from the date of application received. |
|
(vi) |
Ensure 100% of JKMM staff attend at least one (1) day of functional training. |
|
(vii) |
Implement improvement actions within at least three (3) months after an audit remark is issued. |
