Objective
- To monitor and coordinate the administration of Local Authorities (PBT) to ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness through enhancing and strengthening the service delivery system, improving financial management of Local Authorities, and ensuring that the development of Melaka is implemented sustainably.
Functions
- Ensure that all decisions of the Cabinet, State Council for Local Government, and State Authorities are complied with and implemented by Local Authorities.
- Report activities and programmes related to administration, finance, and project implementation to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government and the State Government.
- Ensure all functions of Local Authorities are carried out in accordance with existing guidelines and laws.
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of Local Authority projects.
- Assist Local Authorities in administration and management, including financial management, human resource management, and the management of projects fully funded by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government.

Disseminate policies and directives to Local Authorities (PBT) within seven (7) working days from the date the policy/directive is received. |

(ii) |
Prepare the Tree Planting Campaign Report and the Melaka State Tree Inventory every three (3) months. |

Prepare the State Executive Council (MMKN) Paper within seven (7) working days after complete information is received. |
